92, a new friend
Making a new friend as an adult is not an easy task. Not sure if you agree but when you’re a kid you just meet someone you like, you hang out, have fun and instantly you have a new friend one that might even be a friend for life. But then you grow up and it stops being that easy… men and women being friends? Well, most people don’t think that’s possible, plus having things in common becomes more problematic and then there are all those weird habits you have as an adult that well are just crazy to most people.
So, making a new friend seemed like a simple thing to put on the list but not as easy to do. After many months of being confused about the whole men and women can’t be friends thing and even worse dealing with all my crazy and weird adult habits I think I can now say I have made a new friend and he even might be one of those that stays around for a long time.

93...
Trying to catch up on the blog. I have been able to do some things on the list just haven’t had a chance to post anything. So Number 93, walking up the pyramids. I have lived in Mexico for 9 years, have been to the pyramids over 10 times but had never walked up. Too tired, too lazy, too unfit… who knows why but I had never done it. But now I have.
Went with Becki and Kenny and managed to walk up the Sun pyramid. Pictures to prove it!!!

number 94
Visiting a new country was another one on the list and I have definitely topped that one off. In the last two months I visted three new countries. Went to Ecuador where I saw the most amazing iguanas that live in a park in the middle of the city, they just hang out while people watch and enjoy the park. Then came Colombia and that was just wonderful, loved it. Manizales was beautiful and Bogota better than I had imagined. Got to see my nephew Ricardo too!

95, Sushi

Last Saturday I made sushi, I love sushi and it's something I've always wanted to learn how to do and to continue doing on weekends and for parties.
Loic taught me how to make the rice and then how to prepare the soy sauce, we put the rice on to the seaweed and added, tuna, cucumber and cream cheese to one roll and then made a second one with crab meat. Mine wasn't perfect but it was yummy...

Number 96, Skydive!!!!
OMG, I have to confess this is one of the things on the list I included but really believed I would never do.
I went to Cuautla Skydive with Marco, Darragh, Carlos, Alma O, Luis, Alma T, Alfredo, Elliot and Beto and we all jumped out of airplanes...
I had a very cute and nice instructor and the photographer was the best. I loved doing it and can now move on to easier things on the list... ;)
here are some photos of the amazing experience

97 - classical music concert
This list came about for many reasons but one that was very important to me was that I wanted to be open to new things, those things are sometimes silly and others a bit scary and then there are some that are about being open to new things like cultural events or just reading books that you know you should read but never bother to.
Number 97 was then going to a classical music concert. I went with Hened who by the way has been inviting me for years and added this item to the list. We went to see the UNAM philharmonic and I loved it. The place was beautiful, the music very interesting and varied and the experience was one I hope to repeat.
Thanks Hened for broadening my horizons.
